It all started when…

… Mariette e-mailed me to do a fun little photoshoot in Budapest to capture their travel trip here. Wherever they go in the world, Mariette and Jim always choose a photographer to take a couple shots of them —in Budapest, I was the fortune one to spend some time with these lovebirds.

So we met in October on a beautiful sunny day in Budapest, in front of the Basilica and started shooting right away. We went for gorgeous backdrops in the downtown area, and the harsh but still stunning rays of light poking through the changing trees just made the intimate moments of Jim and Mariette more special.

A walk near the Parliament, moody narrow streets around, the Chain Bridge and little secret spots here and there - all great settings for a romantic stroll.
